Jesus Christ Superstar began as a humble melody written on a napkin in a restaurant and has become one of the most popular and beloved musicals of the stage. Inspired by the Gospel accounts of the last week of the life of Jesus, the beloved rock musical is aptly described as "infectious," "moving," and "explosive." Jesus Christ Superstar, performed worldwide since its 1971 debut, took the stage on the Hilltop for a most memorable evening to celebrate the resilience and power of the human spirit.
